464 was ready to release earlier, but there were some things that needed fixing and then I disappeared yesterday because friends were visiting. I'm not sure if the issues were fixed, so don't be surprised if we wait until our encoder comes back (tomorrow or the day after) and just release with him, instead of releasing today with the knowledge that we're releasing a v2 right after.

Edit: Well bad news. Our encoder won't be able to encode until early next week and the guy currently encoding got a virus T_T. He's fixing his comp and should be able to encode either later tonight or early tomorrow. I should stop promising things, I think it's bad luck :P

Edit: It's confirmed that his computer's fucked and we probably won't be able to encode/release until next week. It won't hold up any progress on 465 since this episode's done afaik, and if there's anything left, it's so late in the process that it won't matter.

Edit: Yay for miscommunication up the ass. Also, to answer what everyone else is thinking. When our encoder comes back, we will be re-releasing all HD releases (462-464) with better video quality and will probably be releasing the SD encodes then.

Episode 463 should have been out earlier this week. Episode 463 should have been out by today. There's just still kind of a disconnect between our two groups and a lot of errors being made by new members. A significant member of ours is coming back this week and should really help speed up the process. I know I keep making empty promises, but I PROMISE you that 464 will not take this long. It's really frustrating to us too to watch the week go by without a release even though the episode's just sitting there. Also, 463 will not slow down 464 because, like I said, we've already done everything and just don't want to make a release with errors in it.

We bring you Gintama 142! Yoshiwara Arc is slowly coming to a close. Enjoy it. For those of you who don't read all the comments, expect 463 tomorrow (if nothing goes wrong) and 464 a lot faster than this week. Strong World should come soon after... but remember that it's a movie and we're all lazy fuckwads, so it might take a bit longer than an episode. I forgot to add, we will be re-releasing 462 with a fix in the script (dumb error) and better video, which is why we haven't released the SD yet.

Just as a note, we're still recruiting translators. If anyone knows anyone that can translate but doesn't want to commit to a series without the end in sight like One Piece, we're open to part-time translators that will only stick with us for the older episodes. We still need to release 417-435. Shinigami-subs is currently helping us with 446-461, but it wouldn't hurt to have our own team translating those too.

As a status update:

463: Translated, and either being TLC'd or timed. Basically, we're waiting on Shinigami-subs for the script while they do their thing.

446: Translated and waiting on TLC.

415: Encoder just started school and is still waiting for internet at home. Should another week or two before he's ready.

416: Needs to be FT/TS/AFX/QC.

417: Needs a major TLC :P

I think we all saw it coming, but very bad news today in the confirmation that Vegapunk is dead. They were a great group and I loved sticking around their forums before I came and joined N-F, stayed around a bit after too. Fun place to hang out that had a great active One Piece community.

So... where's 415 and why are we skipping through a shit-ton of episodes again? Welcome our new friends, Shinigami-Subs. They wanted to joint with us to release new One Piece episodes, so we agreed. Thus, you'll be seeing us on TT or Nyaa as Shin-Nakama. This one should be more permanent than our more recent attempt to go current because they have a translating team that we don't. The way this is going to work is we're going to be releasing a current episode every week and then trying to release 446-461 in between episodes. Once we've caught up on that, we're going to go back and continue releasing our older episodes. We'll still release 415 and 416 ourselves when our encoder comes back in a few weeks. So sit back and enjoy the Whitebeard arc! And I apologize to those who chose not to skip ahead and were just spoiled.

In addition, our encoder is FINALLY moving in a week or so, so he's going to be MIA for a little bit. Honestly, though, we need to get our shit together, so this is fine. Think of it as us taking a quick little break.
